Ministry of Defense Confirms: Junior Sergeant G. Y. Khurshudyan Killed by Azerbaijani Gunfire

A contract serviceman, Junior Sergeant G. Y. Khurshudyan (born in 1989), sustained fatal gunshot wounds as a result of sniper fire from the enemy during a subsequent exchange of fire in the border area of Verin Shorja, Gegharkunik Province.

The Ministry of Defense of Armenia expresses its deepest condolences to the family members, relatives, and comrades of the fallen serviceman.

The situation is currently under control, and no further gunfire is reported.
