The 'Key to Artsakh' Monument is Subject to Dismantling, Says Artsakh Ministry of Education

The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Artsakh, Lusine Garakhanian, has announced that the 'Key to Artsakh' monument, located near the 'We Are Our Mountains' monument, was installed without the Ministry's awareness. She remarked, 'This monument, containing dubious magical connotations, is a disgraceful idea that connects superstitions, sorcery, and the defense of Artsakh with magical forces. It is subject to dismantling, as it absolutely does not conform to the tenets of the Armenian Apostolic Church and our national spirit.'

She added, 'I will send the relevant correspondence to the Mayor of Stepanakert, Mr. D. Sargsyan, regarding the dismantling of the statue. Anything that contradicts our national thinking and value system cannot have a place or role in Artsakh.'
