Follow the Statements and Official News from the Ministry of Defense: Deputy Minister Does Not Answer Questions

I assume what questions will be raised, and I ask you to follow the statements released by the Ministry of Defense and the official news. This was stated today, May 19, during a conversation with journalists in the National Assembly by Deputy Minister of Defense Arman Sargsyan, who refused to answer any questions.

“In my opinion, the Ministry of Defense provides a daily mandatory report on the situation, and I would ask you to be satisfied with that. Thank you,” he said.

When reminded that he is the Deputy Minister of Defense and can present the Ministry's viewpoints, Arman Sargsyan said, “I know who I am, and I would ask you to follow the official news. The Ministry of Defense naturally provides accurate information. I urge you to adhere to the information provided.”

He left unanswered the observation that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had stated that it would be discussed how it happened that the Azerbaijani armed forces entered the territory of Armenia without obstruction.
