A Citizen Electrocuted at Vanadzor Electricity Distribution Station, Airlifted to Yerevan
On May 19, an emergency incident occurred in the Lori Province. At around 10:45, the Vanadzor Medical Center received a call from the Bazum Police Department stating that a citizen with burn injuries caused by electrocution was being transported to them, according to shamshyan.com.
Police have determined that the injured individual, who received first aid on-site from doctors at the Vanadzor hospital, was urgently airlifted by a Sanaviation helicopter to the National Burn Center in Yerevan.
Authorities also established that the electrocuted citizen is 28-year-old Narek Nikoghosyan, who was working at the Number 13 electricity distribution substation located across from house number 1/3 on Hakobyan Street in Vanadzor.
Materials are being prepared regarding the incident at the Bazum Police Department.
