Video: Major Fire in Tbilisi

This morning, firefighters in Tbilisi rescued children from a fire that broke out in a refugee dormitory. A total of 14 firefighting units operated at the scene. They managed to evacuate people, including children, from the burning building located on Beijing Street in Tbilisi. The fire has been completely extinguished, as reported on the service's Facebook page.

The blaze occurred early this morning on the 5th floor of a 14-storey refugee dormitory, spreading to the upper floors. Currently, the fire is fully contained. The causes of the outbreak remain unknown.

Witnesses told reporters that they saw a woman who jumped from the sixth floor to escape the flames. According to them, the woman has been taken to the hospital.
