Russian Airlines Suspend All Flights to Turkey

Russian airline S7 has announced the cancellation of all flights to Turkey for the summer season of 2021. The company's officials explain that this decision is due to the uncertainty surrounding the coronavirus pandemic in Turkey. Flights will be resumed only after the epidemiological situation stabilizes in the country.

Similarly, Russia's largest airline, Aeroflot, has made a statement indicating that it is suspending all flights to Turkey and the sale of air tickets.

Turkey, which is currently facing a tourism crisis, remains hopeful that these decisions are not final and that the Russian government may reconsider them.
