Nine Bodies Found in Car Trunk in Mexico

In the Michoacán state of Mexico, nine bodies have been discovered in the trunk of a vehicle. Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident, as reported by local prosecutors, according to RIA Novosti.

The bodies were found on Monday in the municipality of Zitácuaro. Experts from the Department of Criminal Investigations arrived at the scene and confirmed that there are eight male bodies and one female body, believed to have gunshot wounds. The remains have been handed over to forensic experts to determine the cause of death. The identities of the victims remain unknown.

The Prosecutor's Office continues its investigation with the aim of uncovering the facts and identifying the perpetrators, as stated in their announcement.
