New Escalation of Conflict Has Resulted in High Casualties Among Civilians: Putin Appeals to Israel and Palestine

Russian President Vladimir Putin has called on Israel and Palestine to cease armed conflict. Putin made this statement during a ceremony for the presentation of foreign ambassadors’ credentials.

“The new escalation of the conflict has led to a significant number of casualties among the civilian population, including among children. We consider it necessary to stop the acts of violence from both sides and actively seek solutions based on the relevant resolutions of the UN Security Council and universally recognized principles of international law,” said Putin.
