Driver of 'ZIL' Hits 14-Year-Old Citizen

On May 18, at 17:58, the National Crisis Management Center received a report of a traffic incident near the 'Sasuntsi David' station in Yerevan, where a citizen had been hit by a vehicle. This information was provided by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

A firefighting unit from the Yerevan rescue department was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that a 'ZIL' brand vehicle (driver: Y.G., born in 1962) had struck S.H. (born in 2007), who was riding a bicycle.

Rescue workers approached S.H. and assisted him to an ambulance. The injured individual was hospitalized in a state of unconsciousness at the 'Saint Astvatsamayr' medical center, where he later died.

Rescue teams have cordoned off the area.
