Child Rescued from Gorge Transferred to Yerevan by Air Ambulance
A 15-year-old child has been transferred to the "St. Astvatsamayr" Medical Center in Yerevan after falling from a gorge in the Lori region, arriving in severe condition with impaired consciousness and neurological issues. After receiving first aid at the Tashir medical center, the child was airlifted to Yerevan.
According to Gevorg Derdezyan, spokesperson for the "St. Astvatsamayr" Medical Center, thanks to the airlift, the child was successfully transported to Yerevan in one hour, while it would normally take five hours (2.5/2.5). This expedited transport allowed doctors to quickly begin treatment and save another life.
The child's current condition is assessed as satisfactory, with positive signs of recovery observed.
