Catalonia's Parliament to Demand Release of Armenian Prisoners and Condemn Territorial Integrity Violation

Catalonia's Parliament will officially demand that Azerbaijan release Armenian prisoners of war and will condemn the violation of Armenia's territorial integrity by Azerbaijan. This information was reported by El Nacional.

It is noted that on May 17, the President of the Catalonia Parliament, Laura Borràs, met with representatives of the Armenian community in Catalonia. The media has learned that the Chamber will issue a statement calling for the release of Armenian prisoners of war and condemning the violation of Armenia's territorial integrity.

Although the eighth point of the joint statement by the leaders of Armenia, Russia, and Azerbaijan on November 9 clearly emphasizes the exchange of prisoners of war, hostages, and other detained individuals, as well as the remains of the deceased, Azerbaijan has been artificially delaying this process, not fully returning Armenian prisoners of war and other detained individuals.
