Israel Strikes 5 Hamas Commanders' Homes
Israeli fighter jets have targeted five homes of Hamas commanders in the Gaza Strip, which were reportedly being used as headquarters. This was reported by the RIA Novosti agency, citing the Israeli military's press service.
“In recent hours, the Israel Defense Forces' jets and aircraft have struck five major Hamas command centers in the Gaza Strip. The homes that were attacked served as terrorist infrastructure,” the statement read.
Unrest in Jerusalem began on May 7, with clashes erupting on the evening of May 8 between Arab youth and police, subsequently spreading to the Temple Mount and the Al-Aqsa Mosque area. There have been casualties and injuries as a result of the clashes, including among civilians. The Israeli military has stated that it has eliminated key figures in Hamas intelligence, including the head of Hamas military intelligence security department and his deputy.
