How Many Cases of Coronavirus Disease Have Been Confirmed

As of May 16, at 11:00 AM, a total of 220,860 cases of coronavirus disease have been confirmed, of which 208,454 have recovered and 4,323 have resulted in death.

Currently, 7,023 patients are undergoing treatment for coronavirus disease. A total of 1,036,673 tests have been conducted overall.

Yesterday, 3,160 tests were performed, resulting in 131 new confirmed cases of the coronavirus disease. We have 354 recoveries and 9 deaths.

The previous day recorded 2 death cases where the patients had the coronavirus infection; however, the deaths were due to other health conditions. The total number of such cases is 1,060.
