Driver Dies After Vehicles Rolls Off Road into Ravine

On May 16, 2021, at approximately 21:05, Anton Ruben Grigoryan, a resident of the village of Hovsepavan in the Askeran district, was driving a Mitsubishi Pajero vehicle on the second kilometer of the Sardarashen-Noragyugh highway when, under unclear circumstances, he veered off the road and rolled into a ravine. As a result of the injuries sustained, he died on the spot.

Investigators from the second investigative department of the territorial investigation directorate of the Artsakh Investigative Committee have arrived at the scene. A criminal case has been initiated and is being investigated under part 2 of Article 253 of the Criminal Code of Artsakh.
