Another 43 Cases of Intestinal Infection Documented

Water sampling continues in Sisian. As a result of the research, an improvement in water quality has been documented; however, in certain areas, it still does not meet the established standards.

As of today, 5 citizens have been hospitalized at the Sisian medical center, while 3 have been discharged. 11 patients are still receiving treatment, and the condition of all is assessed as satisfactory with positive dynamics.

During the period from May 15 to 17, another 43 patients were identified through home visits. In total, 445 cases with symptoms characteristic of intestinal infections have been documented in the Sisian community. All patients have exhibited symptoms of infectious intestinal diseases since the outbreak began.
