According to My Information, Azerbaijanis Will Have Four Positions and 60 Soldiers in the Area of Lake Sev, Syunik. Vahe Hakobjan. Tert
According to my information, there will be four Azerbaijani positions in the Syunik region, each with about 15 soldiers. This was stated by the former Governor of Syunik and president of the 'Reviving Fatherland' party, Vahe Hakobjan, in an interview with Tert.am.
“As a result of today’s negotiations, an agreement has been reached to maintain equal forces in the area of Lake Sev: the Azerbaijanis will have four positions, and the Armenian side will also have four positions. The absurdity is that they are dictating to us how many soldiers and positions we should have on our land. Incidentally, even what we currently have, for better or worse, was achieved through Muradov's efforts,” Hakobjan told the news outlet.
To the observation that Azerbaijanis have practically crossed the Republic of Armenia's state border and remained here, Hakobjan replied, “Yes. It turns out that not only did they not leave, but they also have positions and soldiers.”
The former governor of Syunik expressed the opinion that this is only part of what has been plotted; it is not everything, just a part of the arrangement that the ineffective government is trying to present as an achievement, while it is unable to defend the state border of the Republic of Armenia and remove the Azerbaijanis who came and effectively stayed.
