Who is Right, Hovhannisyan or Avinyan? Auroranews Provides Details

The Azerbaijani side continues to disseminate videos, claiming they are from the area of Lake Sevan. It is interesting to note that the climatic conditions visible in the video are entirely different from the nature that was recently showcased in the photos shared by Tigran Avinyan. Furthermore, some experts and users on social media are asserting that Avinyan was not at Lake Sevan, but rather near Lake Sagi.

Journalist Nairi Hovhannisyan made a post stating that officials were actually at the edge of another lake, Sagi Lake, or more likely, at the shore of a smaller lake located slightly below it: “Well, now, a lake is a lake, isn’t it visible in the photo which lake it is? The main thing is to deceive people once again. I have clearly shown on the attached map where the officials were, and it is natural that the governor of Syunik or other officials wouldn’t dare suggest to the deputy prime minister to avoid making false statements,” wrote Hovhannisyan.

Auroranews contacted Gorisk Deputy Mayor Menua Avetisyan, who elaborated: “This is at the back of Lake Sevan; they could have been there during the negotiations. As for the overall area, different climatic conditions exist in different parts of Lake Sevan, and there is also snow. Tigran Avinyan was at Lake Sevan with representatives of the Goris community, and they were the ones who accompanied him,” said the deputy mayor of Goris.
