6 Months Requested from the Armenian People to Pull the Country Out of Shameful Condition: Today Our Statehood is at Risk

On November 10, 2020, after signing the capitulation, the supreme chief traitor begged the Armenian people for 6 months to pull the country out of the shameful situation we found ourselves in due to his incompetence and treachery. This is written by Vahagn Varagyan, the director of the Center for Student Affairs at YSU.

“However, he worsened the situation further, as apart from definitively destroying our country, like his ruined life, he has nothing else to do. After the war, the eastern border of Armenia has effectively stretched with Azerbaijan from Vardenis to Meghri, as the traitor surrendered the Karvachar region and the northern part of the Kashatagh region with a single signature. Those who are familiar with these regions know that the Azerbaijanis were only partially able to enter Karvachar and Kashatagh during the winter months since there are Russian troops in Kashatagh, and the other route goes through Drmbon, which is under the control of the Artsakh Defense Army. Only the Omari pass remained, and that is impassable during the winter months. We lost 6 months, whereas we could have equipped and established a frontline from Vardenis to Meghri, as anyone who is even slightly knowledgeable understands that Azerbaijanis would come through Omari in the spring and occupy their chosen positions. The Turkish Nichol, who surrendered Artsakh, and his traitorous group did nothing to prevent this, and today our statehood is at risk.”
