Union of Relatives of Missing Artsakh Fighters Sends Letter to Putin
The Union of Relatives of Missing Fighters from the Republic of Artsakh has sent a letter to the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, requesting support for the return of Armenian prisoners of war held in Azerbaijan.
In the letter, it is particularly stated:
"Dear Vladimir Vladimirovich,
Please accept our deepest gratitude and sincere respect for your mediating efforts, which have led to the cessation of hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh, and for the security provided to our people by the peacekeeping forces of the Russian Federation.
We have believed, cherished hopes, and were confident that the 8th point of the agreement from November 9, 2020, would certainly be implemented under your high patronage. However, unfortunately, our relatives are still in captivity today, and their condition is unknown.
We earnestly ask and hope that you will take this issue under your direct supervision and ensure the protection and prompt return of our relatives to home."
