If Negotiations Yield No Results, Azerbaijanis Must Be Expelled from Armenian Territory by Force - Armen Khachatryan
Currently, the negotiation process is ongoing, and we hope it will conclude with the unconditional fulfillment of the Armenian side's demands. This was stated by Armen Khachatryan, a member of the 'My Step' faction in the National Assembly, during a conversation with journalists in Goris.
Khachatryan reported that negotiations are currently being held with the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Defense, corps commanders, and representatives from both Russian and Azerbaijani sides.
According to Khachatryan, the negotiations are not limited to the Lake Sevan issue but also extend to those areas where Azerbaijani military representatives have entered.
Is it possible to create a neutral zone in the area of Lake Sevan? Khachatryan responded that a neutral zone is a very effective measure for maintaining a ceasefire between conflicting parties, but it should not be established solely at the expense of Armenian territories; this is unequivocally unacceptable. If a neutral zone is created, it must also be in consideration of Azerbaijani territory.
When asked what will be done if negotiations yield no results, he responded that in that case, our relevant bodies will have to take other measures, including within the framework of the CSTO.
'The Azerbaijani military cont ingent must be expelled from Armenian territory by the use of force,' emphasized the deputy.
