Why Haven't the Armed Forces Prevented the Entry of Azerbaijanis and Engaged with Them? Questions Raised by Ara Zohrapyan

Due to the passive behavior of the authorities, the enemy has already openly violated the sovereignty of Armenia, having penetrated approximately 4 km into the territory. This was reported by Ara Zohrapyan, President of the Chamber of Advocates, on his Facebook page.

"The security of Syunik is at risk, the security of Armenia is at risk. Because of the passive behavior of the authorities, the enemy has already openly violated the sovereignty of the Republic of Armenia (approximately 4 km deep). The representatives of the government have been trying to hide the reality throughout almost the entire day of May 12, continuing the destructive information policy adopted since the war.

In this situation, how can we trust the authorities? They say that the Azerbaijanis have lost their way, that there has been no gunfire or conflict, and many natural questions arise:

1. Why haven't the armed forces prevented the entry of Azerbaijanis into the territory of the Republic of Armenia?
2. Why haven't the armed forces engaged with the border-violating Azerbaijanis and captured them?
3. Why is this information being concealed from the people, and why aren't the lying officials being removed?

P.S. Since January, the issue of securing a lawsuit filed against the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff of the Armed Forces in the Administrative Court of the Republic of Armenia has not been resolved. We requested the court to oblige the armed forces not to abandon their positions. In the event of a court decision, the armed forces would not carry out treasonous orders from their superiors if they related to abandoning positions or avoiding conflict. However, it turns out that some of our judges have already chosen the path of diplomacy for five months, while the leadership of the Ministry of Defense is also avoiding conflicts on Armenian territory," Zohrapyan wrote.
