“What is being done today is not enough,” says Putin
Support for the teaching of the Russian language in the CIS countries is insufficient, and additional measures are needed in this area. This opinion was expressed by Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to TASS.
“We must pay proper attention to the development and support of Russian language teaching in those countries,” the leader stated during a meeting with government members.
He instructed Education Minister Sergey Kravtsov to present additional proposals on this matter, stating, “because what is being done today is not enough.”
