Over 800 Million Drams Allocated to 6 Regions

The Armavir, Gegharkunik, Lori, Kotayk, Syunik, and Vayots Dzor marzpets (regional governors) will receive 827 million 758.2 thousand drams from the state budget, aside from the planned subsidies, for the purpose of providing additional subventions. This decision was adopted by the Government during its session today.

According to the justification, in 2020, the commission approved 700 subvention programs. The applications are primarily aimed at capital investments in communities, specifically for the improvement of streets, parks, and playgrounds, as well as the construction and renovation of community buildings, cultural centers, kindergartens, and event halls. Additionally, it encompasses the construction and renovation of drinking water, sewage, and irrigation pipelines, the installation of night lighting, the gasification of settlements, and the renovation of common-property property in multi-apartment buildings utilizing energy-saving measures.
