Official Baku's Statement on the Border Situation

Official Baku has clarified the situation at the border by releasing information characterized by their typical lies and fabrications. In a statement issued by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it is mentioned: “It has become clear that Azerbaijani border guards are currently deployed in the Lachin and Karvachar districts bordering Armenia, in accordance with the trilateral statement regarding Nagorno-Karabakh. The process is being carried out in the usual manner and on the basis of accessible maps for the parties, defining the border line. We are surprised by the Armenian side's reaction and consider it unacceptable that the official circles of Armenia attempt to exploit the situation for political purposes.

Currently, the leadership of the state border service of Artsakh is negotiating on-site with Armenian border guards and taking appropriate measures to regulate the situation. We advise the political and military circles of Armenia not to panic, to acknowledge the realities of the interstate border regime, and not to escalate the situation in the region. Such cases can and should be resolved through mutual communications.”

It should be noted that Azerbaijani military personnel have invaded the state territory of the Republic of Armenia.
