Gnel Sanosyan on Reports of Enemy Advances in Gegharkunik Province

Gegharkunik Province Governor Gnel Sanosyan has provided details regarding the border situation in the province. In an interview with Armenpress, he addressed the circulating information about enemy advances towards the borders of Gegharkunik Province, stating that in the areas that came under Azerbaijani control as per the trilateral statement of November 9, 2020, the enemy should have established positions, but it has been unable to do so due to adverse weather conditions.

“Currently, they are carrying out positioning operations. In certain questionable areas, adjustments are being coordinated with Armenian forces. The situation is under the control of the Armenian armed forces,” said the governor.
