Membership Fees Banned for Chess Players from Now On
The President of the Chess Federation of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, has issued a decision prohibiting other organizations from charging membership fees from chess players going forward. This information was announced on the official website of the Chess Federation of Armenia.
“In accordance with points 1.3, 2.1.2, 2.2.3, and 8.16 of the regulations of the Chess Federation of Armenia, membership fees are prohibited from being charged to participants from other organizations in tournaments included in the Chess Federation of Armenia's calendar (including the qualification rounds of these tournaments). This decision is effective as of the moment of publication,” the announcement states.
