How Azerbaijanis Managed to Enter Armenian Territory: Insights from Armen Grigoryan
The withdrawal of Azerbaijani forces from Armenian territory has not yet been fully successful, and negotiations are ongoing. This was stated today by Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan during a broadcast on First Channel, discussing the entry of Azerbaijani soldiers into the territory of the Sevan Lake.
When asked how it is that the adversary can enter Armenian territory, the Security Council Secretary noted that border changes occurred after the end of the war, and due to winter conditions, it has not been possible to secure the entire border. “You know that the length of the border has increased, and under these circumstances, it has not been possible to resolve all issues at once, but it is clear that over time, we will address all questions. It is not the case that the entire border was secured back in 1994; that required a long time, and similarly, this situation will require a certain amount of time. I understand the concerns of our compatriots, but we are doing everything we can,” Grigoryan emphasized.
