Additional 400 Million Dram Allocated for Border Communities' Utility Expenses
The government has adopted a decision aimed at improving the living conditions of residents of border communities in Armenia and providing support to residents of 43 additional settlements. According to the Executive's respective decision, the list of border communities eligible for compensation now includes seven communities with 43 settlements.
These border communities will receive state support to cover partial utility costs, including natural gas, electricity, and irrigation water tariffs, as well as compensation for property and land taxes. A total of 400 million 205.8 thousand dram is required for this purpose, which the government will allocate.
