Acting Minister of Emergency Situations Travels to Moscow
The Acting Minister of Emergency Situations of Armenia, Andranik Piloyan, has traveled to Moscow for a working visit on May 13.
The acting minister, along with the director of the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Armen Gasparyan, will participate in the 13th International Exhibition of Security Equipment “Integrated Security - 2021” from May 14-16.
The Armenian delegation will visit the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations' National Center for Crisis Management to familiarize themselves with the institution's operations. They will participate in a flower-laying ceremony at the memorial complex of firefighters and rescue workers and are scheduled to engage in emergency response drills.
The agenda also includes visits to the “Leader” rescue center for high-risk operations and the Noginsk Rescue Center of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Within the framework of the visit, the Armenian delegation will take part in international demonstration exercises, and discussions will be held on expanding cooperation between the humanitarian structures of the two countries.
