Formula 1 Istanbul Grand Prix Cancelled

Formula 1 has officially announced the cancellation of the 2021 Turkish Grand Prix. This was reported by the broadcaster of Formula 1 in Turkey, "S Sport".

The Istanbul Grand Prix was scheduled to take place from June 11 to 13.

It is worth noting that the Istanbul Grand Prix was held from 2005 to 2011, after which the contract was not renewed. Only last year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the scarcity of Grand Prix events, it was decided to temporarily return Formula 1 to Turkey. However, this year's event has also been cancelled.
