Enemy Advances 3 km Near Vardenis Toward Verin Shorja Village; Trenches Being Dug

The enemy has advanced its positions in Vardenis as of yesterday, reports Yerkir.am. Local residents indicate that Azerbaijani forces have moved their posts 3 km down the mountain toward Verin Shorja village, which encompasses grazing lands and meadows entirely within Armenian territory.

“They have descended 3 km from the mountain posts and are currently digging trenches in the Vardenis area,” locals told us.

AuroraNews attempted to reach the head of the Shoghakat community, but our calls went unanswered. A representative from the Ministry of Defense stated that an official response would be issued soon. We will await official statements.
