14,000 Doses of Sputnik-V Vaccine Arrive in Armenia This Night
To stabilize the epidemiological situation of the COVID-19 pandemic in the country, the vaccination process continues alongside the procurement and import of new batches of vaccines. This information was provided by the Ministry of Health.
14,000 doses of the second Sputnik-V vaccine have arrived in Armenia this night. It should be noted that the first dose of the same vaccine has already been distributed to primary health care facilities, and citizens in risk groups are receiving their vaccinations.
Vaccinations with Sputnik-V are intended for individuals in risk groups, including healthcare workers aged 18 to 54, patients with chronic diseases aged 18 to 54, and residents and staff of social care facilities aged 18 to 54. Vaccinations with AstraZeneca can be carried out among individuals aged 18 and older on a voluntary basis.
Vaccinations are conducted at primary healthcare organizations every day of the week, with on-duty hours set from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays. Additionally, mobile vaccination teams operate in public places, including Northern Avenue in Yerevan, Dalma Garden shopping center, Mega Mall shopping center, Vardanants Square in Gyumri, Hayk Square in Vanadzor, and near the Dilijan Municipality.
Foreign citizens residing in Armenia are also eligible for vaccinations. Vaccinations are free for everyone.
