The 40-Kilometer Zangezur Corridor, Separating Us from Nakhchivan, Will be Opened: Aliyev

The 40-kilometer Zangezur corridor, which separates us from Nakhchivan, will be opened. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev announced this in an interview with the country's state television, as reported by Ria Novosti.

Aliyev stated that the opening of the corridor is one of the points of the trilateral statement signed on November 10. “Since the signing of the document, a working group at the level of the Deputy Prime Ministers of Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Russia has taken very serious steps on this issue. I can confidently say that the railway corridor will be opened. Azerbaijan will fulfill all its obligations,” he noted.
