Armenia Removed from Ireland's 'Red List'

Armenia Removed from Ireland's 'Red List'

As of May 8, Armenia has been removed from Ireland's 'Red List' (List of Designated States) due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation. This information was reported by the Armenian Embassy in the United Kingdom.

Travelers arriving from Armenia, or those who have been in Armenia in the last 14 days (including as a transit country), will no longer be subject to mandatory quarantine in designated hotels that were previously required to be booked in advance.

However, the mandatory entry requirements for entering Ireland still remain in effect. These include presenting a negative COVID-19 PCR test result that is no older than 72 hours, as well as completing the COVID-19 Passenger Locator Form. A mandatory 14-day self-isolation at home is also required.

The same rules apply for those traveling to Ireland from Northern Ireland by land.
