What Fate Befell the Notorious Little Artem from the Days of War

Today, with the blessing of Bishop Gevorg Saroyan, the leader of the Mashtotsotn Diocese, Father Mkhtiar Aloyan, the spiritual shepherd of the St. Thaddeus Church in Masis, visited the family of Gohar and Artem Arakelyan, a mother and son displaced from Artsakh. This is reported by socialmedia.am.

According to media reports, the mother and son were among the last residents of the village of Getamej in the Kashatagh region, who were discovered and rescued by Armenian soldiers before the village fell into enemy hands.

After leaving Artsakh, the family found themselves in Goris under uncertain conditions. It was only thanks to the care and persistent efforts of Garik Stepanyan, a resident of Masis, that Gohar and Artem Arakelyan have been living in Masis since March 7 of this year. Currently, all the care for the family is being provided by Garik and his friends.
