All Forces Opposed to Nikol Can Expect Support from Us: "Hraparak"

"Hraparak" newspaper writes: "We asked the former head of the National Assembly staff, Ara Saghatelyan, whether his political entry format has been clarified and if he will participate in the elections, considering that Saghatelyan had stated that he would start engaging in active politics. 'You know that I am from Mikael Minasyan's team; our team is a very organized and cohesive structure. Our team will not participate in this election as a political unit,' said Saghatelyan.

We asked what he thinks about the formed alliances such as the Republican Party of Armenia-‘Homeland’ and Kocharyan-HLDS, and what kind of electoral struggle he predicts. 'There is no clear information about all alliances yet; there is information about the attitudes. As far as I know, everyone says that when elections are announced and we are convinced that the idiot ruling the country will not deceive us again, then we will announce our political configurations. This is how I understand reality based on the statements made by the representatives of the different political forces you mentioned. I believe that in any case, if there are elections, it is not worth searching for contradictions within the opposition field. Everything is very clear; there can be different configurations, and they can have tactical and technical nature, yet the idea is the same — to liberate the country from these incompetent traitors. There is a government that has collapsed and destroyed our country, humiliated our national identity as a nation, killed 5,000 people, and left tens of thousands homeless and hopeless, and there is an opposition that is ready to liberate this nation from these scoundrels by any civilized means, possibly through elections in this case,' Saghatelyan responded.

Mikael Minasyan had pointed out the reasons for not participating in the elections in his publication. We asked Saghatelyan whether they would support any of the opposition political forces. 'Everyone who is against Nikol can expect different types of assistance and support from us. We will express our position against these scoundrels; we will explain to all possible layers of society, using all possible means, that the subjectivity and internal legitimacy-lacking monkey should not lead this country,' Saghatelyan replied."
