Thieves Target 'Van' Football Club Athletes in Charentsavan, Causing 1.6 Million Dram Loss

The Charentsavan Police Department is preparing materials regarding an incident reported on May 5 by 52-year-old Sevada Arzumanyan, a resident of Yerevan. According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, Arzumanyan informed the Charentsavan Police that between 16:00 and 16:40 on the same day, a significant theft occurred at the locker room of the Van football club's training ground in Charentsavan.

According to G. Shamshyan’s information, Charentsavan police officers arrived at the scene and determined that two 'iPhone 11' and one 'iPhone 12' mobile phones belonging to the club's athletes had been stolen, as well as cash amounts of 50,000 and 10,000 drams. Director S. Arzumanyan reported to the police that the total loss amounts to approximately 1.6 million drams.
