Civil Contract Will Participate in Elections Without a Coalition
The Civil Contract party will participate in the upcoming extraordinary parliamentary elections as an independent party, without forming a coalition. This was announced by Lilit Makunts, the head of the My Step faction, during a conversation with reporters at the National Assembly.
“The Civil Contract party will not participate in the elections with a coalition, but will participate as an independent party,” said Makunts.
Regarding the party's candidate list, she noted that they will begin to present the list's structure and the individuals involved after May 10. However, she stated, “There will be new people on the electoral list. The list will primarily be formed in accordance with the law on political parties.”
When asked if there would be businessmen on the list, Makunts refrained from commenting at this time.
Addressing the presence of Civil Contract banners in Yerevan before the campaign has officially started, she explained that there are various banners representing different political teams in Yerevan and not only there, which is compliant with current laws and does not contradict any regulations.
The electoral slogan of the Civil Contract is “There is a Future.”
