Sergey Lavrov's Plane Arrives in Yerevan

The Foreign Minister of Russia, Sergey Lavrov, has arrived in Yerevan. He was welcomed at the "Zvartnots" airport by the acting Foreign Minister of Armenia, Ara Aivazyan, as well as the ambassadors of the two countries, Vardan Toghanyan and Sergey Kopirkin.

Tomorrow, on May 6, a meeting will take place at the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs between the heads of the foreign ministries of Armenia and Russia. The signing of a joint document is planned.

As part of his working visit, a meeting is scheduled with acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

On the morning of May 6, Lavrov will visit the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex, where he will pay tribute to the victims of the Armenian Genocide. On the same day, he will lay flowers at the Eternal Flame in memory of those who perished during the Great Patriotic War.

On May 6, at 10:15 AM, there will be a private conversation between Ara Aivazyan and Sergey Lavrov, followed by an expanded format meeting at 11:00 AM. Subsequently, there will be a joint press conference with the acting Foreign Minister of Armenia, Ara Aivazyan, and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov at 12:15 PM.

Lavrov is scheduled to leave Armenia for Azerbaijan.
