Photo of Artsakh Hero Colonel Removed in Vedi, Replaced by Kocharian's Election Poster

Today, on the birthday of Artsakh hero, Colonel Davit Ghazaryan, who fell on September 30, supporters of Robert Kocharian removed the photo of the Artsakh hero from the sign in the city of Vedi, Ararat, and replaced it with an election poster for Kocharian. This occurred despite the fact that the election campaign has not yet started and campaigning is prohibited, reports the 'Civic-Centric News.'

The incident has sparked outrage among Vedi residents and friends of the fallen hero, who gathered for a protest action, brought special equipment, and attempted to tear down Kocharian's poster in order to restore Davit's photo.

A friend of Davit stated that he had called the deputy mayor of Vedi, who assured him that the issues were being resolved and that Davit's photo would be reattached to the sign.
