Flood Creates Emergency Situation in Aygestan Community

At 1:54 PM, the Emergency Situations State Service's 911 hotline received a report that in one of the recreational areas of Aygestan community in the Askeran region, due to intense rainfall, the river has burst its banks, rendering both entry and exit impossible.

The floodwaters have completely filled the existing structures in the area, covering the designated relaxation pavilions.

A rapid response operational group from the emergency services has been dispatched to the scene. It has been determined that there are two citizens in one of the community's structures who require assistance from rescuers. The operational team used rescue techniques with climbing equipment and through river crossings to evacuate the citizens and administered first aid.
