Azerbaijanis Destroy Cemetery in the Village of Mets Tagher in the Hadrut Region

The Armenian cemetery in the village of Mets Tagher, which came under Azerbaijani control, has been destroyed. This was reported by the Caucasian Heritage Watch (CHW) on their Twitter page.

“Recently, the Armenian cemetery in the village of Mets Tagher has been destroyed. It was established in the early 19th century and remained functional until the ethnic Armenians were evacuated from the village in 2020. A satellite image shows the complete destruction of the cemetery,” the post states.
