Our Goal is to Demonstrate the Genocidal Nature of Azerbaijani Authorities' Policies: Tatoyan

I am sending official letters to the OSCE Chairperson and co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group, including excerpts from the recent speeches of the President of Azerbaijan that serve as evidence of the policy of hatred and enmity.

This was stated by the Human Rights Defender of Armenia, Arman Tatoyan, on his Facebook page.

“In these speeches, the President of Azerbaijan speaks in a language of power and threats, using words that belittle the dignity of the entire Armenian people, the populations of Armenia and Artsakh. These words are of a terroristic nature, create tensions in Armenian society, and through his speeches, he emphasizes the superiority of the Azerbaijani people,” Tatoyan wrote.

The initiative undertaken by the Human Rights Defender of Armenia is new and will continue to be ongoing. The speeches and messages of the President of Azerbaijan will now be subject to special monitoring.

“Our goal is to demonstrate the genocidal nature of Azerbaijani authorities' policies, which pose a serious threat of gross human rights violations and new atrocities, threatening peace and security,” Tatoyan stated.
