Man Who Jumped from 14th Floor Was a War Veteran: Details

On May 3, at 1:50 PM, the National Crisis Management Center received a report that a citizen had fallen from the 14th floor of a building on Halabyan Street in Yerevan onto the roof of an office located on the first floor. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia, a firefighting team from the Yerevan Rescue Department was dispatched to the scene.

The rescuers brought the citizen’s body down and transferred it to an ambulance. ArmLur.am has learned that the individual participated in the war that began on September 27, 2020, and was one of the top snipers. The reasons behind this unfortunate act are currently being investigated by law enforcement authorities.
