Body of a Man Discovered Under Davitashen Bridge in the Morning

A tragic incident occurred today, May 5, in Yerevan. Around 07:30, the Ministry of Emergency Situations' rescue service received a notification via 911, as well as the operational management centers of the Yerevan City Police Department, stating that there was a male body found under the Davitashen Bridge.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the emergency medical team that arrived promptly confirmed the man's death. Police and investigators from the Mashtots District are working to establish the identity of the deceased, who is estimated to be between 55 and 60 years old. Investigative materials are currently being prepared by the criminal investigation divisions of the Ajapnyak and Davitashen administrative districts.

The police and the investigation department are in the process of identifying the deceased.
