Azerbaijan Records Statements Made in Parliament and Government to Use Them Against Armenia
Some anti-Armenian statements made by certain lawmakers have negative consequences on the legal processes taking place against Azerbaijan and in support of the Republic of Armenia's interests. Ani Samsonyan, a member of the "Enlightened Armenia" faction, stated this in an interview with ArmDaily.am, referring to her colleague Taron Simonian's comments that "My Step" has finally returned to pro-Armenian politics, describing it as a psychological self-defense reaction.
“We are receiving feedback from various international organizations that these statements are specifically damaging to Armenia's cause. It is surprising to my colleague that statements can be made that assist this cause rather than harm it,” said Samsonyan.
She noted that Azerbaijan is meticulously recording and transcribing statements made by officials in the National Assembly, Government, and other institutions to present them outside and use them against Armenia.
Regarding the Prime Minister's speech in the Parliament yesterday and his statements, the lawmaker remarked that he was trying to show his true intentions, which might have established a dictatorship, but they have not. She expressed that they would have very much liked to establish a dictatorship, but they cannot.
