Two New Bases Established for Russian 102nd Military Base in Syunik: Pashinyan
Two new bases have been established for the Russian 102nd military base in Syunik. This was stated by Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during his speech in the National Assembly, addressing security systems.
“These two new bases are additional guarantees for ensuring the security of Syunik and the Republic of Armenia,” said Pashinyan.
According to him, both before and after the war, the external security system of Armenia has not changed. It has primarily been based on the joint Armenian-Russian military group and the CSTO's air defense system.
“When some people try to show that certain decisions made have created new threats to the security of Syunik, I must say that they have not looked deeply into the situation. The protection of all Armenian borders is carried out through the efforts of the Armenian-Russian joint military group, which does not mean that there must be combat positions everywhere,” said Pashinyan.
