Blogger Vilen Gayfechyan to Assume Mandate of Yerevan Council's My Step Faction

Blogger Vilen Gayfechyan, co-author of the "SOS" TV series, will assume the mandate of the My Step faction in the Yerevan Council. This was confirmed to Haykakan Zhamanak by Vilen Gayfechyan himself. He stated that he plans to contribute to the improvement and urban development of Yerevan city.

Gayfechyan will receive the council mandate following the resignation of Anna Javakhyan, a member of the My Step faction, who relinquished her mandate last week. Javakhyan announced her decision to cease her powers on her Facebook page.

“Dear Yerevanites, I have decided today to terminate my powers as a member of the Yerevan Council. The reasons are personal, and I ask you to respect my decision. I want to express my gratitude to my colleagues in the council and the Mayor of Yerevan for our joint work in the interest and welfare of our beloved city. It has been a great honor for me to work with you and to meet you all. I wish you great strength and enthusiasm in your future work,” she wrote.
