Traffic Police Issued a Citation, and My Driver Paid the Fine on Site: MP

Armenian National Assembly MP Babken Tunyan made a Facebook post stating that today, the driver of his official car violated traffic regulations by parking briefly in an unauthorized area, partially blocking a pedestrian crossing. He was not in the vehicle at the time.

One of the Facebook users photographed the violation and posted it on social media. As some media outlets have highlighted this 'incident' and reposted it, Tunyan deemed it necessary to inform the public that a corresponding citation was issued by the traffic police, and his driver paid the fine on site.

Tunyan expressed his apologies to the pedestrians who were inconvenienced during that brief period. However, he also emphasized that there is no need to look for any malicious or contemptuous behavior towards society in this case. He has always opposed such behavior, both in the past and even more so now in his capacity as an MP. He wished everyone safe travels.
