Pashinyan Did Not Reveal Which Vaccine He Was Vaccinated With
During a special session of the National Assembly today, the question of electing the Prime Minister of Armenia is being discussed. As previously reported, this morning, acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan was vaccinated against coronavirus along with his wife, Anna Hakobyan.
Independent MP Taguhi Tovmasyan inquired about which vaccine Pashinyan received. In response, the acting Prime Minister declared that he would not disclose the name of the vaccine. “I can say that one of our Deputy Prime Ministers was vaccinated with AstraZeneca, the other Deputy Prime Minister will be vaccinated with Sputnik V, and I hope that someone from the National Assembly leadership will be vaccinated with the Chinese vaccine that we have,” said the acting Prime Minister, which caused a wave of amusement among the MPs.
Pashinyan also assured that if our Ministry of Health and our epidemic prevention agencies have allowed any vaccine to be authorized for circulation, then those vaccines are good vaccines. It is worth mentioning that Health Minister Anahit Avanesyan and Tigran Avinyan have already been vaccinated, announcing that they received AstraZeneca.
During the government session on April 29, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan urged those present in the hall to go and get vaccinated. According to ArmDaily.am, the Prime Minister and his wife have been vaccinated with the Sputnik V vaccine.
